Not much to tell yet... |

| We are definitely taking it easy so far! I
hosted a BUNCO game on Tuesday, the 6th. I meant to take a
couple of pictures but got so caught up in rolling the dice, I
forgot! Jim went out to the motorhome to work that afternoon,
he didn't want to listen to 12 women counting, rolling dice and yelling BUNCO. :) We have been going through a few doctor's appointments, I got a shot in my lower back and doing other procedures that need not be mentioned here :P Quiet, quiet, quiet! When I downloaded pictures the other day, there were 2 from Christmas (and you don't get to see those, YUCK-O) and then pictures that I was taking from the TV while watching the Obama Inauguration on Tuesday the 20th. What a day! I was glued to the TV most of the day, didn't want to miss much I guess. Here are a few that will stay in my memory for awhile... You have to love a big screen TV for days like this. |

| You can see the silhouettes of Obama and Bush, but mostly you just see Obama, I liked that a lot! | During the invocation prior to being sworn in. Notice Michelle Obama's brother, with the orange and black scarf. He coaches basketball at Oregon State! Go Beavs! |

| Aretha Franklin, need I say more? | A family affair to swear in the 44th President of the United State of America. |

| Obama being sworn in, they are using the same bible that Abraham Lincoln used for his swearing in. This is the first time it has been used Lincoln. | Walking down Pennsylvania Avenue on their way to watch the parade. |

| The first dance at the Neighborhood Ball, Beyonce singing. | I hope this look lasts for them through the next 4 years. |
| I have a long to-do list for myself, one of the items was to finish these board games! The girls cut and prepped the wood for me, I just had to figure out what to put on them and then get the holes drilled for the pegs. These are the game boards for a game called Pegs & Jokers that we love playing with friends. I just had to go with a wine theme... | |

| You can play with as few as three, but four to eight is better. I only made 6 boards, didn't think we would ever have 8 people playing at our house. | Here is what they look like when put together to be played on. The 5 pegs start at the beginning or start, which in this case is either grapes or a vineyard. You have to try and get all 5 of your pegs to home, which in this case is either a glass of wine or a bottle of wine. We play this game 3 different ways! |
| Jim has been working in the yard,
digging up cannas bulbs that were in the front yard, fixing a drain
pipe that got broken when a backhoe dumped a load of dirt into our
yard for future use (another to-do for me), and of course, getting
the RV ready to rock & roll in a couple of months. It is ever
so shiny right now, and it will get a couple of new awnings the
first of February. I have been really lazy, haven't taken any
pictures of all of his hard work. I just checked my picture file and there are no more pictures in January so we must not have done too much! Just getting ready for the summer by taking care of doctors appointments, etc. I guess I should close out January :P Kim |
