You know me, I look for the wineries close by to where we are staying.  Then I drag Jim out to drive me around to all of them.  He mostly likes it, as long as he likes the wines :)
Massachusetts Wineries

Coastal Wine Trail

Connecticut's Wine Trail

We start at the Massachusetts wineries...
We start at the Running Brook Vineyard and Winery... They carve out a very small space in the barrel room for the tasting.  We were not the only ones there on this trip.  It was a little cozy...
Next was Westport Vineyard and Winery, it was out in the farmland, you can see a tractor going down the street behind the sign. An old farmhouse is what they use for the tasting room.
The backside of the Winery & Tasting room. The gal that was pouring for us told us her family owns a farm down the road, we went down to buy some vegetables.  Her mom is showing Jim her tractor. :)
Over in Plymouth, MA, there are a couple of wineries, This is the Plymouth Bay Winery and we decided to wait until the bus load of people left before we went tasting. Here is the front once you could see it after the bus had left.

The Plymouth Winery (not to be confused with the Plymouth Bay Winery) is just down the street in a small shopping mall. The entrance to the tasting room, it is a small operation, mostly making fruit wines.
We took a day trip up Cape Cod and stopped at Truro Vineyards. Truro vineyards behind the tasting room/winery.
The tasting room is in an older home, but today they are pouring wine around back. Grapes on the vine, just starting to change color.
The trip is to Connecticut to enjoy a few wineries over there.
Sharpe Hill Vineyard, Jim waiting for me to take the picture and to drive up to the tasting room. The entrance to the tasting room, but it also happens to be a restaurant.  I just wish we had known that it would be open, we would have had lunch.
We tasted the wines outside, off the patio where they would be serving lunch.  The owner is the Lady on the right in the picture, we got to chatting and it was hard to get away.  She took us on a short tour of the facilities.  They wines were very good too!

Priam Vineyards was the next winery on the trail. Coming up to the tasting room.  We ran into a group of gals out doing a little tasting, we ran into them down the road (not literally though) at another winery.
Jonathan Edwards winery, we drove past it at first because there was no sign on the side of the road like most wineries.  It was fairly busy, but the wine was ok, but they got most of their grapes from Long Island, NY.

Stonington Vineyards was the last stop for the day. The tasting room was in an old barn.  We drove from the top of the state to the bottom to try out all of these wines.
